Red Wine Audio has previously provided a full line of high-end audio equipment powered by batteries.

Their latest product is an ultracapacitor powered hi-fi system. By using ultracapacitors to power the new LIO integrated amplifier, the system provides clean power completely isolated from AC noise. This new design with ultracapacitors, instead of batteries, provides more current with faster delivery and almost unlimited life cycle. The product use 18 Maxwell BCAP0350 ultracapacitor cells in a 9 series by 2 parallel configuration to provide 24V of clean power to the unit.
